Pakistani military officials say at least 10 Pakistani soldiers have been killed during a clash and airstrike at the Afghan border.
The officials say the incident occurred late Tuesday in the Mohmand tribal region. They say fighting broke out as militants tried infiltrating into Afghanistan. Details are still sketchy.
Troops from both countries as well as U.S.-led and NATO forces based in Afghanistan have been fighting Taliban militants in the border region.
