ANKARA – Turkish Daily News

The ongoing dispute among the political parties should be handled in such a way that it doesn't destabilize national unity, as well as economic and political stability, President Abdullah Gül urged yesterday.
Particular attention should be paid by everyone to the aspects I have mentioned. That's why I wanted to recall the statement I made last month, he told reporters during a meeting with trade ministers of the Asia Pacific area.
On May 26, President Gül advised all parties to be wary of not disturbing the stability in the country, in a written statement.
A very tense political debate continues in Ankara over the closure case of the ruling Justice and Development Party, or AKP.
