Turkey's budgetary surplus is $1.5 bln in first half Turkey's central management budget had a surplus of 1.9 billion YTL (1.5 billion dollars) between January and June, 2008, the Turkish Ministry of Finance announced on Thursday.

The budget figures for the June and January-April term were released on Thursday.
According to the latest figures, Turkey spent 100.6 billion YTL ($82.5 billion) from the central management budget in the first half of 2008, with budgetary income recorded at 102.5 billion YTL ($84 billion) during the same period.
Turkey's non-interest surplus between January and June was 22.6 billion YTL ($18.5 billion.)
