Angola, Turkey to boost ties
Angola and Turkey will strengthen economic cooperation with the signing of an agreement on trade, economic and technical-scientific cooperation, said a press release by the Angolan government Friday. The memorandum, which will be signed Aug. 22 in Ankara, will be preceded by the Turkey-Africa Cooperation Summit, reported Angola press agency.

‘Turkey will support Russia'
Turkey will support Russia in the Caucasus, according to Russian RBC Daily, referring to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's arrival in Moscow to meet the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The daily said Ankara wanted peace and stability in the Caucasus, adding that Turkey was disturbed by the United States' policies in the region.

Turk, Russian FMs to meet
Turkish and Russian foreign ministers will meet next week to kick off the process to form the "Caucasus Stability and Cooperation Platform” process, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told a press conference in Bodrum after returning from Russia and Georgia late Thursday. Erdoğan said Turkey wants Azerbaijan to participate to the platform as well as Russia and Georgia.
