Several Istanbul districts will experience power outages due to maintenance work starting today and continuing through to Tuesday.

According to a statement Wednesday by the Bosporus Electric Company, or Bedaş, there will be power outages Friday in Sarıyer district's Rumeli Feneri village, Garipçe village, Muz Bağlar place, and Marmancık village and its surrounding areas between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.; in Beyoğlu district's Meşrutiyet Avenue, Hamalbaşı Avenue, Beşir Fuat Street, Kallavi Street and surrounding areas between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.; and in Beşiktaş district's Kuruçeşme neighborhood, Ulus Park, Kireçhane Street and Çeşme Street between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Beşiktaş district's Kuruçeşme neighborhood, Mezarlık Street, Yuva development, Kireçhane Street, Çınarlı Çeşme Street, Akıncılar Street, Kuruçeşme cemetery, M. Emin Ergun elementary school and surrounding areas will not have power between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

On Sunday the Fatih district, parts of the Neslişah neighborhood, Emlak apartments, parts of the Mimar Sinan neighborhood, Vatan Police Directorate, police housing, the mayor's office building, parts of the Hoca Üveyz neighborhood and Historia shopping mall will not have power between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. On the same day, Bağcılar district's Çınar neighborhood's 6/2, 7, 7/1, 8, 8/1, 8/2 streets and parts of Istanbul street and surrounding areas will have their power cut between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., while the İmar apartment complex in the Beşiktaş district of Kuruçeşme and nearby areas will be without power from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

On Monday, Beşiktaş district's Kültür neighborhood, Koru street, Ulus apartments and surrounding areas will be without power from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Power will be cut for the same period Tuesday in the Ulus neighborhood, Kibele Residences, Kamer Apartments and surrounding areas.
