Turk festival held in Macedonia
State Minister Mustafa Said Yazıcıoğlu attended a traditional festival of Turks living in Macedonia's Radovish city Saturday. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Yazicioglu said it was important to pass traditions onto new generations and that Turks living in Macedonia had done that task very well. There are nearly 78,000 Turks in Macedonia.

Turkish doctors to treat patients in Congo
A group of 33 members of the Health Professionals' Association, or SAMEDER, in the southern province of Adana, left for Democratic Republic of Congo on Sunday to provide medical examination and treatment service. Chairman of SAMEDER Necdet Kizilkaya told reporters that the team consisted of doctors, dentists, pharmacists, associate health personnel and a journalist.

State minister attends conference in Kazakhstan
State Minister Mehmet Simsek left for Kazakhstan on Saturday to attend a conference on �Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia,� which will take place today. He will also hold several bilateral talks with Kazakh officials. The conference is an intergovernmental security forum initiated in 1992.
