Ten dead in California bus crash

The bus rolled over after veering off the road

At least 10 people were killed and many more injured when a bus taking people to a casino overturned in the US state of California.
Police say the vehicle veered off the road and rolled over near the rural town of Williams in the north.
The bus was travelling from Sacramento to Colusa Casino Resort, when the accident happened just after 1800 on Sunday (0100 GMT Monday).
No other vehicles are thought to have been involved, police say.
Some passengers were of Laotian descent and had trouble communicating with rescuers, a police official was quoted as saying by the Associated Press news agency.

The bus came to rest in a water-filled ditch about 60 miles (100km) north of Sacramento, crumpled but upright.
Rescuers used torches to scour the area in the dark, looking for more possible bodies.
It was not immediately known how many passengers had been on board.
