Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said Saturday that Turkey's goal is to increase the Turkish-Indian trade volume to 6 billion USD in the year 2010.

Speaking at a groundbreaking ceremony for an additional building of the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi, Erdogan said that "being an entrepreneur is an honor in India".
Calling on the Turkish citizens living in India, Erdogan said that these individuals play the role of a bridge in promoting relations between Turkey and India.
"We are preparing for military and cultural cooperation with India. The two countries support each other in the political sphere," Erdogan also said.
