FRANKFURT - OMV, central Europe’s biggest oil company, posted a loss in the fourth quarter as oil prices and output declined.

The net loss was 208 million euros ($266.6 million), or 70 cents a share, compared with a profit of 318 million euros, or 1.07 euros, a year earlier, Vienna-based OMV said yesterday in statement. OMV in November cut its 2010 production output target because of lower-than expected volumes in some regions.
